Stella's Spa Day!

Whoohoohoo! We have been waiting for months for the cattle hoof trimmer to make it out to help out poor Stella, and it was finally dry enough for Dave to make the drive from Eau Claire today. 
We lured her in with rolls and a couple pushes. She needed to think her way through it, bending her head just the right way for her horns to fit. Once she was in, he raised and tilted the chute to have her on her side. She was a trooper but probably does not want another spa day anytime soon.

Dave mentioned that sometimes too many donuts may contribute to overgrowth. She has had quite a few - spoiled cow! We have never had this issue before but knew we needed a professional to help her out. She almost sprinted out of the enclosure!
